Greetings all, been good working at Simudyne – currently doing stuff in Scala/Lift/Javascript and some stuff in OpenSim. Anyway A few of you probably arrived here from one of the Chainmail related sites I’ve been linking myself to in the past month. I’ve gone and uploaded my weave instructions to Instructables – sure it’s almost completely copy-pasta’d from my site, but there’s a few other things on there, and the inclusion of tags in images may make working with this stuff easier. Anyway I’ve seperated things into 4 categories as uploading them all would be much more of a pain. The link to my profile is here.

Spring 2012 Anime Season Reviews/First Impressions [Complete]

Holy crap 40+ series (granted there’s a few that I don’t consider as a real series – looking at you Train Hero), but that’s quite a lot of anime. Now as the purveyor of animu, I’m accustomed to watching everything – the good, the bad, and the mediocre, but not this season. Between a new job, moving, and a backlog of video games I’m going to have to tighten the anime belt as it were. What does this mean for you the reader? It means expect harsher reviews than you had thought possible – gone are the days where I’d give something a meh pass – sit down kids, this is time for No Items, Fox Only, Final Destination.

Simulation Developer at Simudyne

Greetings, been a while, but I’ve been busy with interviews and such. I’ve since joined with Simudyne a UK based company expanding into the US that creates real time simulation software for Energy, Healthcare, Defense and other applications.
This means that most likely over the next few months I’ll post the occasionally cool thing I’m working on – provided I’m allowed too.
p.s. I’ll also update and add a section soon (next weekend) with chain mail stuff most likely linking that through Mail Artisans.

Winter 2011-2012 Anime Season Reviews/First Impressions [Complete]

I’m going into this season folks with almost no bearings. Few of these shows have a manga (and the ones that do are not stellar) the only sequels I’m familiar with are Amagami which was bleh, Natsume which is slow, and Tsukaima which GODDAMMIT WHY IS THIS STILL GOING ON OH WAIT IT’S BECAUSE THEY CAN’T END IT.

Fall 2011 Anime Season Reviews/First Impressions [Complete]

Guys Nichijou is over, I can’t get my lulz, and my dramalulz from Steins;Gate is gone too, even my dramdawwwws is gone with Usagi Drop. I still got my Penguidrum and Mirai Nikki was one of my favorite manga’s since Deadman Wonderland. Even with some sequels like Bakuman, Working, and Shana I can’t be sure if this Fall will really be that great. I haven’t lost hope though. That will happen in a couple days after a lot of reviews and a lot more booze. I try to tell myself that nothing will be worse the Manyuu, but I’m always wrong.
