Punch Drunk Magic

pdm_far

Punch Drunk Magic (PDM) is a card and hex-tile based game with a focus on consuming beverages to gain magic which can be used to defeat foes or challenges.Accomplishing said goals leads to loot, and the ability to block-off other players in order to win the game.

Basically it’s a drinking game with dice, cards, hex tiles, where the more alcohol you consume the more powerful you become – although possibly less strategic.

It’s a giant bug eating nasty owl, and he’s hungry. Luckily in this dark forest lit only by the moon and fireflies lies a poison mushroom. If you bait the owl and make him eat it you’ll kill him. This assumes of course that he doesn’t eat you first; so beware his shadow and cry – they are your only warning.

About the Hardware:
The player has three items on him, each of which translate to the in-game character. His flashlight, pointed around the screen, translates to where the character points his flashlight.
